Is dustless blasting really dustless?
Nearly. Mixing water with the abrasive drops airborne dust by an order of magnitude, which is the difference between a visible plume and damp grit falling at the nozzle. It is why wet methods can run beside occupied storefronts and parked cars. Zero is a marketing word; controlled is the honest one, and containment sheeting handles the rest where sites demand it.
Does wet blasting cause rust?
Untreated, wet-blasted steel flash-rusts quickly, especially in our humidity, so wet work on steel includes a rust inhibitor in the water and a coating plan behind the blast. Done that way, wet-blasted steel coats as well as dry-blasted. Skipped, the surface you paid for is gone by morning.
What can a mobile rig actually reach?
Anything the truck can park within hose distance of: yards, shop aprons, loading docks, parking structures, farm sheds. Hoses run long, so the rig rarely needs to touch grass. The genuinely unreachable jobs are interior floors far from any door, and we say so on the phone rather than on arrival.
